And this level of demand - for both home fans and travelling fans is a new phenomena. Though I'm guessing that it is here to stay.
wasn't Chivas limiting ACB sales for their "home" games vs LA to 1000, even though they weren't selling out those games? any chivas or la fans know if i'm wrong on this, or where i'm remembering it from?
manufacturing separate utensils to individually fulfill spoon and fork functions is highly illogical.
Somehow I scored some tickets this morning during the 10 am CST release. I'm from LA and was planning on visiting family there over the weekend and catching the game. As it stands now my ticket order might be cancelled because I don't live near KC. What kind of bush/minor league shit is that? This is the championship game for the LEAGUE and you're telling me you don't want people from other states to fly in and attend the game? Not the biggest deal to me as I'm not a fan of either team and I'll simply get my money back but I can't imagine how RSL fans feel. I can't imagine this policy holding up in any other league. What a joke.
if the "geographic area" was KS and MO, then i feel bad the skc fans in iowa, oklahoma, etc. who regularly come to games. RSL fans, not so much, though jough was onto something when he said they should've had a regional sale then a public sale, rather than having a regional sale and calling it a public sale.
It sucks that RSL got only 1k tickets when we had 2k last year. Granted SHC is much larger but still....this whole mess is bush league.
I was curious so I did a little Googling and the coldest game played that I could find was the 2010 match between Lech Poznan and Juventus, which ended at -16º C, or 3º F, amid blizzard conditions.
Damn, the local news channel had the cup on the news desk at the end of the broadcast last night ... seeing that gleaming cup in the TV lights -- now my nerves are completely shot!
My god, who edited this? A fifth grader? Talk about headache inducing. Someone needs to learn about how to make a highlight video actually worth watching, start by making the video clear and not twitching/flickering up and down every 5 seconds. I'd like to actually see the highlights.
I watched it twice last night. The first time I saw it I thought it might've been my internet connection. Nope, it was the editing job by some idiot. Seriously, who gave Buddy an editing job?
Just realized this was going head to head with the SEC Championship game. Obviously I won't be watching..... why didn't they schedule this last week?.... sheeezsh
Really? Looks clear to me on the radar and forecasts. I guess there is a 10% chance tonight depending on where you look.
My three year old insisted on wearing snow boots to make footprints! Light dusting but enough for a footprint
Because scheduling a game the weekend of thanksgiving with 1 week lead time is asking for trouble? All other leagues that played last weekend had their games planned well in advance.
