    Not so much bitching as observing that it looks really, really weird. The partial markings are really off-putting.

    Nice early shot from Alonso.

    I won't bitch about the logo, but the sideline stripe is rather bad.

    Paint doesn't go down well in the rain. Seattle gets lots of rain. Yesterday was dry - take advantage of it while you can.

    how about we not have NBA/NHL in seattle, and just make a 60k stadium for sounders instead?

    I'd be all for that. I'm not impressed with the NHL lockout or the NBA's way of handling day to day operations.

    This is a major fail for MLS. The sidelines are diminishing all the enjoyment. No surprise EPL dominates TV rating :(

    Which makes some sense - but then, why would they wait on painting the gridiron and numbers?

    The logo doesn't bother me so much because I know that custom jobs like that take more time to paint and need time to dry between colors, etc. The sideline though is about as straightforward as it gets.

    seeing seattle score first, then bunker, then lose 1-2 :( hoping we matured from those days.....
