Salt Lake's XI: Rimando, Beltran, Watson-Siriboe, Borchers, Wingert, Beckerman, Grabavoy, Johnson, Morales, Saborio, and Espindola.
I guess this is the "compromise" Adrian spoke of. Something tells me no one will notice anything different on Sunday for the NFL game.
I think the compromise consists of "Sounders can play at CLink if the Seahawks can have some of the markings done while the weather is dry enough (aka yesterday)".
From twitter: SEA Starting XI: Gspurning; Johansson, Parke, Hurtado, Burch; Rosales (cpt), Alonso, Tiffert, Evans; Montero, Ochoa #RSL XI: Rimando; Beltran, Watson-Siriboe, Borchers, Wingert; Beckerman (c), Grabavoy, Johnson, Morales; Saborio, Espindola
Looks like no hash-marks, so there's at least that. And expect Seattleish weather. A wet artificial turf tonight.
Expect a smaller than usual crowd in Seattle. Upper deck looks completely tarped up - normally the first few rows are occupied: not tonight.
Hmm .. I was hoping it might be closer to 7:30. Anyway, I'm ready enough to watch Seattle bomb out the playoffs ... as usual.
Fun intro about last year's semifinal series, but they needed to include Beltran's unbelievable save off the line in game two. That was really something, particularly from the straight-on angle where you can see his acrobatics to get to the ball.
NBCSN is using the Sounders broadcast tonight? Does that mean RSL gets to use their announcers for 120 minutes in the return leg?
In all fairness Seattle has improved every year in the playoffs (not that it says much): 2009 - no goals, no wins, didn't advance 2010 - one goal, no wins, didn't advance 2011 - two goals, one win, didn't advance So, if the trend were to continue, this year would see them advance.
