Very impressed with Velasquez, dodgy haircut though. Almost as if Danijel Ljuboja and Stephan El Shaarawy had a baby.

Marcus Hahnemann was awesome for Seattle tonight.

Hard to believe someone with his pedigree who is still playing that well is No. 2. He'd start for a lot of MLS teams.

Seattle is very deep this year.

Hahnemann did end up saving the game, could have easily been 4-1. Impressive getting by Rimando though, even though the first touch was crap. Caskey spend like 2 minutes lining up that shot....

Those are the most expensive seats at the Desert Cup (other than the suites). For $75, you get to sit on the field, plus unlimited food and drinks.

I don't have any faith in NBC's ability to work with cable providers in the way espn did....

//Yes, I know NBC is owned by Comcast
//I increasingly hate what watch espn has become. I hate that my cable and Internet providers, both subscribe so I can watch espn, espn2 and espnU content, but that means the espn3 broadcasts are now blacked out.

they should be trying to be one step AHEAD of ESPN if they want to compete and providing a WatchESPN like product that is available to EVERYBODY regardless of cable/internet provider.

if they want to challenge the 3 decade old king of the hill they've got to do BETTER and provide MORE if they have a hope in hell ...

having no streaming platform whatsoever is far from that, it is a step behind ... a few steps actually and it is pathetic from a would be ESPN challenger ... but of course this is NBC we are talking about so utter incompetence isn't really that shocking.
