MLS most realistic possibility for San Antonio

    NY2 is the favorite simply because the league is deadset on making it happen ... so far as to actually allocate resources to try and get it to happen.

    Outside of that, there is no "favorite" for any other spot right now. In regards to everyone/where else, first to have a viable ownership group with viable stadium plan is in.

    Seems the Spurs ownership group would be pretty dang viable, the alamo dome pretty interesting, and you Crocketteers. Are there plans to further get city help on renovations to the dome?

    There are already other track/field venues in the city that are better.

    Alamo Stadium is old, and needs revamping, but I remember seeing Pele play there. The "old" NASL San Antonio Thunder played the NY Cosmos. I was only a kid but have fond memories of the game! They could fix it up but pro soccer will never happen there again if the citizens have a say.
