That whole "report power outages online" thing doesn't seem quite as ridiculous as it did 10 years ago, all of a sudden.
Rimando reports on his twitter that he did not get any sleep. Even the weather is on the Crew's side for this game. No excuses not to take three as long as Danny O does not see red.
I guess that's why you fly a transport plane and not something where G-forces and aerial inversions come into play?
Twitter, various website, Dispatch.com, automated phone calls to everyone in their database, etc. There's ways.
I hope this match isn't postponed solely because of the amount of tickets you guys have sold (or reported to have sold). A tired Rimando couldn't be much worse than he has been in the last 2 RSL matches...
We don't know it's postponed yet, do we? Better to come out and not get to see the match then to stay there and watch it on TV...or is it the other way around? Keep in mind you can exchange tickets.
Yeah - it's probably all good. And even if the match is postponed, I'm sure Kahoots will be up and running.
Just saw on the Crew Supporters' Union's Twitter... Stadium has power, and they're clearing debris from the parking lots now. Game on.
I was just at the stadium 3:30 talked to a CSC oldtimer minding the gate said "It is iffy AEP is doing all they can". No obvious lights on. Talked to a Statie who said is "Hit or Miss -they are thinking about moving kick-off to 9pm" No AEP seen in the Area but I did not track the lines back to survey...
Yeah not sure where the Supporters Union got their info but the stadium has NO power right now. My brother was just at the stadium 20 mins ago trying to get tickets and they turned him away. They told him theres no power and its iffy there will be a game. Strange to me that the website and the Crews official twitter has been silent on this.
Of course. 2 minutes after I post this the Crew twitter says they expect the game to be played b/c "AEP is working diligently to restore power." .
