So, what are the odds that this match will sell out?

Looks like most of the tickets left are in the top rows of the upper deck. I hope the heat doesn't deter too much of the walk-up crowd on Saturday. Even if this doesn't sell out, this could wind up as our second biggest crowd of the season. Heck, if Beckham or Donovan get hurt in the next month or two, this could actually BE our biggest crowd of the season.

If there is going to be a big crowd, people need to remember to show up a little earlier than usual to park, because the lines will be long.

Okay, how believeable does this look? Sounds like O'Rourke may start on Saturday:

    Gruenebaum
    Miranda James Williams Vukovic
    Gaven Mirosevic O'Rourke Tchani
    Renteria Meram

I think this is what we'll see. Personally, I'd rather see Gehrig start instead of James, because I don't think he's up to game speed yet. Wouldn't mind seeing Schoenfeld start, I think we need him out there.

That said, Tchani scored a goal, so I don't think we want him out there on the field for us.

Williams is lucky he hasn't scored yet, or he'd be benched too.

Under Bobby's watch, Meram will play striker about as often as Duka will play centrally. If Schoenfeld is fit, I bet we'll see him.

My sources on the ground are telling me a sellout is possible - I'm doubtful, but that would be awesome.

Ticketmaster only shows 681 seats available right now. 336 of those are in setion3 134+135 between the stage and player's tunnel.

Obviously, we can't tell from this how many tickets the Crew ticket office has held back for day of game sales, other promotions, etc.....

I do know that my friend in the FO who has NOTHING to do with the sales office put out a couple tweets that they had sideline tix for $10, but only a l imited qty.

Roller coasters make me puke, as do these boards (and this team) at times.

The weather channel has it at about 90 at 8pm for the start. Still, hot but at least the temp will be dropping.

Jardy's report in the Dispatch this afternoon says Mirosevic may not make it back for this game and that Bob may start Schoenfeld and Renteria together for the first time. I suppose Schoenfeld could drop back into Mirosevic's spot and keep Meram and Renteria in, but that would be way to much of an aggressive move for Bob. More than likely it will be Birchall in the middle with Renteria and Schoenfeld up there. That would sufficiently guaranty that we have two forwards in who have club feet.

Why in the world would Schoenfeld play midfield? We haven't seen much of him, but I think we've seen enough to know that he's a forward, not a midfielder.

Along the same lines, how do you know he has club feet when we've seen so little of him in sustained action? I'm willing to give him a few more games before I judge.

It was a joke ... Bob has a penchant for playing folks out of position for no good reason. Perhaps I should have annotated it with a :).

    Friday night injury update:
Nice to see Duka and Marshall heading in the right direction, even if we still have to wait a few more games for them.

I've been in that situation before - it's miserable. I'm sure RSL got an awful night's rest. Then again, all our boys were probably without power last night, too.
