Your ethics is up to you but its not just for "me" and it didn't say not to share it. Plus $10 can buy you some beer to drown your troubles. I thought it was a bit silly, they sent the email to Sounders season ticket holders with a bunch of devices showing the Sounders on the screen, you know the one team a Sounder season ticket holder would never see on MLS Live.
Not strictly true, only Live Sounders games shouldn't be on there, and even those local blackouts are apparently hit and miss, depending where you live. Highlights, Condensed Games and full Archives of all the games will become available after about 1 hour, 2 hours, and 24-48 hours respectively, so there'll be plenty of your local team to enjoy on the devices eventually.
I wonder if the last 2 numbers are code for different teams so they can track how many are sold from what team, as a result I am still waiting for my Chicago Fire email.
I've never gotten MLS Live...is it worth it? I usually get the Direct Kick package via cable. I guess this one goes into the league coiffers as opposed to comcast so its better? I can also watch any game that I want to pull up later that week with Live right? Is the internet speed/lag a problem?
I have comcast cable internet and lag was never an issue even with 3 streams at once. Did have a couple of occassions where the connection was lost on the back end and could not reconnect for several minutes, however, the same can happen with a cable tv feed so I don't see a difference there. I prefer the MLS Live if only because I can take it with me, it goes where my laptop goes.
The '2012' is for the 2012 season. The 'TICKET' is for MLS club season ticket holders. The '15' is to signify 15% off ($9 off). If they want to figure out which team you have season tickets with, they could look at your IP, your address, ask the teams...
Yeah, but that discount was a half-price sale for the whole week leading up to the start of the season. I'd have to assume most of the people who signed up last year did that, and there's no similar sale this time. This really is a big increase in price.
Yes but that deep discount was really underpriced for all that was offered. I have no problem paying the $50 I did this year to watch hundreds of live matches, and practically every other match in a condensed form. At this point about the only value add I could see would be condensed reserve league matches. Yes I would watch some of them.
No speed problem with Time Warner cable internet. It is a great entertainment bargain if you are an MLS fan. It works out to something like 30 cents a game and you can watch them at your leisure. I'm excited to see how it does on 4G on my phone. Also the league isn't running this themselves. There is some streaming video provider who will be taking a big chunk of your money. If directing your money to the league is your major concern, I doubt this is really much better than Direct Kick.
Doesn't work for me (probably because I live in Canada). The kicker is I am a Sounders Season Ticket Holder.
thank you OP for the code! the price hike was annoying since the last two season early/bird specials were around $39, so every little bit helps.
