I know there's a group of at least 4 or 5 of us going down. not sure if we'll have enough to field a team for the supporter's tourney, but I for one would be glad to jump on with another team.

If I can go I'll play as well. I should know in the next few days whether or not I can.

With Kev off doing the ticket sales thing (call him at 214-777-0225 if you haven't gotten your MLS Cup tickets yet) and to sumarize by poaching a post by Miss Charlie on our boards....

Here's information about the Supporters Summit.

    Folks - it's here!

The Supporters Summit and Tournament - a full weekend of your favorite activities.

:D Soccer, Socializing, and Tailgating. :D

Please go to the front page and register for the events you will be attending - we want to be sure we have enough for everyone!

There is a minimal fee that covers all the summit events and an add on of $5 for playing in the tournament.

    REGISTER

We have a full slate of events, some very cool door prizes, and it all starts 4 p.m Friday at the Arsenals favorite drinking hole - The Cypress Lounge in the Frisco Embassy Suites Hotel.

Saturday starts at 9 a.m. with the Supporters Tournament, a lunch provided by MLS League Offices, Player Appearances, Behind-the-scenes Stadium Tours, and the Supporters Summit. (And maybe even a USA watching party)

At 4:30 we take a short break to set everything up for the Silent Auction which starts at 6 p.m. at Dave and Busters. The Auction wraps up by 9 p.m. and its time for late night activities to start. Many Inferno members are planning to go to the nearby Irish Rover.

Tailgating on Sunday, followed by the game, and more tailgating - festivities start at 10 a.m.

    Some transportation updates!

    AIRPORT-TO-HOTEL

If you are not renting a car...make a shuttle reservation now! (online or via phone). Shuttles are about half the rate of Taxi's from the airport.

    Supershuttle
    1-800-BLUE-VAN (1-800-258-3826)
    Rates: Approximately $32-35
(additional passengers to same location get a discount)

Parties of 5-10 people can reserve an "Exclusive Van" that holds up to 10 people for a flat rate total of $80 + $1 per person fuel surchage (plus tip of course!)

    HOTEL SHUTTLES TO PHP

We contacted the following hotels and found that all of them have a shuttle available on a first com basis in a five mile radius of the hotel. The ones slightly further than 5 miles said that it was likely to be ok to take people to PHP, folks just need to ask the concierge ahead of time and 'reserve' a time.

Hampton Inn & Suites Frisco 4.4 mi
    Embassy Suites 4.5 mi
    Holiday Inn Express 4.6 mi
Marriott Plano at Legacy Park 5.8 mi
    Westin Frisco 6.1 mi
    Courtyard Plano Legacy 6.2 mi

    TAXI in Frisco

Also, people wanting to arrange for rides via Taxi can do so, but will have to call one of the taxi services ahead of time to arrange for a taxi. (it can take UP TO AN HOUR for a taxi to arrive).

I'm organizing the Supporters Cup Tournament on Saturday morning. It would greatly help my planning if anyone who wants to participate would Register on the Inferno website - http://www.the-inferno.net/.

No problem if the KC and MN folks want to form a team together. I think that's a great idea. Hope to see you Saturday morning.
