MLS Cup 2012 - Tailgate Information

I remember last year a security guy stopped me at the tailgate and pointed to my orange helmet and said "You know you won't be able to bring that in, right?" and I just kind of played it off and walked in with it anyway. I hope I don't have any trouble bringing it in this time. That thing has been all over the place for Dynamo games.

 

Pfft...they say a lot of things. It'll get in.

 

That was great. I was laughing at the occasional LA fan that accidentally drove into the lot.

 

just say you had a head injury and that for them to be ADA compliant they have to let you in with in on.

Somehow a tailgate isn't great when you don't drink, all there is is alcohol and you're standing in a 40 degree rain. But who's complaining? I was there to see the Dynamo in the MLS Cup.

 

Can you not buy beer in LA?

If we don't tailgate how am I supposed to be drunk enough to think that smuggling in a couple of smoke bombs is a good idea??????

 

Just saw on the MLS site that there will be no halftime show. Standard 15 minute break and remember that they don't have beer guys going up and down the aisles selling beer. Not sure if that is a stadium rule, state law or a weird way to save energy

 

I assume no beer sales on campus.

 

you can buy beer inside. Prepare to grab your ankles though. I think a 24 oz. Corona was $10

 

they had beer stands all around, it was just weird they can't go down the aisles

Nothing will ever top the prices at MetLife Stadium. I went to the USA-Argentina friendly in early 2011. $12 for a (plastic!) bottled 12 oz Coors Light.

 

So I'm not a season ticket holder, but I will be there supporting my Dynamo. Will I be allowed to park in this lot to tailgate with the rest of the Texans?

 

All Dynamo fans are invited, come to the pre Cup party the nite before at Naja's on Redondo Beach too

You're watching Argentina play in the NY/NJ area while drinking expensive light beer. Factor in the number of Eurosnobs that were present and that is ********ing Hell on Earth.
