Do any other teams have such an odd opening schedule as LA does? After the upcoming weekend they'll have played 5 games against only 3 teams (RSL and Vancouver twice each)?
Playing RSL twice was weird, but they and San Jose opted for the weird schedule due to CCL. I think most teams in CCL have had odd starts to the season.
Yeah I understand the gaps in the schedule but having RSL back to back, then Chivas, then Vancouver back to back is just strange.
It should be noted that the Galaxy had a bunch of their better II players with their squad at the Dallas Cup (Sorto, McBean, Jameison, etc.)
In that case, let's also note that SRFC played a game against the Orange County Blues 24 hours earlier.
