Let's get this one started a little bit earlier.. On the slate this week: As always, please keep it friendly and neutral in the PBP thread.
Yup. Also, as I rarely get to participate in this thread let me proactively complain about another goddam back-to-back series for LA, and cast a pox upon the children of Vancouver for good measure -- although there is some exceptional Chinese food to be had in that fine city of bastards. Nice park, too.
looks like Alan Kelly is back as a head ref (part of replacement refs). Ioannis Stavridis reffed last week. did PRO manage to increase their ref pool because of the strike?
Seeing CCL on FS1 instead of buried on some other channel or online momentarily made me think a MLS team advanced...
There are several studies with conflicting results, but I always support men maintaining routines. If sex is part of your regular life as an athlete, continue to have sex. If not, don't. All consenting adult, women should have sex before competitions.
I have finally found a tomato sauce that doesn't contain onions. I HATE onions. I LOATHE onions. There has to be someone else who frequents this thread who hates onions, as well. Oh, and the Union are going to get slaughtered this week.
This is blasphemous. Onions are delicious (not as good as shallots, though). Now mayonnaise..mayonnaise can go ******** itself. I'm sure our wives/girlfriends would be judging them, and us.
I like the flavoring an onion can impart into a meal, but am not a fan of actually eating them... Especially as a garnish or side. What I loathe the most is garlic though.
Garlic I can have, but only in small doses because of a gastro problem. I like garlic bread, and if you can slice the garlic thin enough - like Paulie did in Goodfellas when he was cooking steaks - then you can add it into any meal.
I'm allergic to tomatoes. Do you have any idea how many products in stores contain traces of tomato? It's an absolute headache trying to find ready-made foods, soups, etc that are tomato free. At restaurants I explain my allergy. So what do they bring me as sauce for my fries, or put on hamburgers? Ketchup. Somehow people don't realize ketchup is made from tomatoes. [/rant] And if anyone is curious, blended red peppers can be used as a replacement for tomato sauce.
