... and if you had ex-Rev Chad Barrett scoring the first goal of the season with a stoppage-time game-winner, please report to Las Vegas immediately.

LOL - I know I'm in the clear minority here, but I love Benny.

Nick Rimando is freaking amazing. Nine saves, many spectacular, in shutting out the Galaxy.

I watched most of that game.

Parkhurst was fantastic. MOTM level for the Crew. He was calm on the ball, he tackled when needed, as always he did not give up stupid fouls, EJ could not beat him for pace as he was able to keep him contained and not allow him to turn, earned a PK for his team and saved a ball off his line.

It was as good a performance as you could hope for especially a first game with a new team.

Benji Joya just scored less than a minute into his MLS debut.

Chad Barrett scores late winner for Seattle..... Michael Parkhurst smothers DC attack.

Why can't we get players like that?

The ex-Revs could almost field a solid starting XI:

    GK:
    RB: James Riley
    CB: Michael Parkhurst
    CB:
    LB: Seth Sinovic
    LW: Kenny Mansally
    DM: Jeff Larentowicz
    AM: Benny Feilhaber
    RW:
    FWD: Clint Dempsey
    FWD: Chad Barrett

Is he still in the league? I don't think he stuck around with DCU.

The Eastern Conference earned 1 out of a possible 15 points vs the Western Conference in week one, going 0-4-1.

That actually helps our terrible start!

Yes, noticed that too. Philly salvaged a single point on the road, otherwise it'd be a clean sweep.

Ops, Sainey is no longer in the MLS. Anyway, I saw Tony Lochhead is on Chivas now, so he could fill in the other CB!

At 5-foot-6 , 140 I'd be surprised if he can still play after this season

Size is overrated for attackers, particularly winger/forwards. Joao Plata seems to be doing pretty well.
