Goal of the year. http://www.mlssoccer.com/video/2013/10/06/goal-camilo-ties-it-spectacular-overhead-volley
Landon's chip shot on the run while under pressure was a beautiful goal as well. It was also his 134th goal, which ties the record in MLS.
Nine goals conceded in last two games. Team put all their money into attackers and a goalkeeper who sucks.
Well the playoff race has been fun to keep up with this season I'll tell you that. Amazing how 3 teams might not get to 30 points but everyone else is past the 40 point mark.
Yeah, if Seattle keeps playing like that, their supporters are gonna get to watch 'em for free for the rest of the season. *playoffs not included
NE Revolution @NERevolution 1m SENE INJURY UPDATE: Saer Sene suffered a dislocated left ankle and broken left fibula in today's game. Retweeted by Major League Soccer That could hurt NER's chances a bit. Bad time for injury. Did anyone see it happen? Bad tackle?
Montreal's drop is shocking, but somewhat expected considering their average age. From SS contenders to potentially missing the playoffs in just a 5-game span. Wowza.
DC had the lead until the 88th minute when JackMac struck. Still, gotta consider a draw vs. DC as a loss for Philly and a win for us. Still sitting in third after these results.
Things going well for us this weekend results-wise as I see it. Need FC Frisco to pull one back on Chicago
You know, it was a sliding tackle from the side in the box that I would have made, one you see all the time, one that got the ball clean and first, one that rarely gets penalized, but one that was also guaranteed to trap the plant foot under the trailing leg at great risk to serious injury. Its a leg breaking tackle and it did. I don't know what to think about it. All sports are moving away from allowing contact that has a high risk of seriously injuring your opponent. Do we need this tackle in soccer? Should we keep it? Just because you can get the ball with your front leg first -- do you have the right to wipe out from the side the attackers plant foot with a sliding leg that traps the foot and ankle beneath the weight of your body? I don't know the answer ....
Yeah this is true, but their place in the standings has only recently been severely affected by it. They were sitting pretty with a real shot at the SS up until they dropped 14 of the last 15 points.
