Figured it out as it actually worked the second time (as you can tell, because I now have an avatar). We'll be a while figuring this out.
Moving down in the world...I'm back to being a "Member" EDIT: With time things seem to be getting closer to normal
Everytime there's a change, a ton of people complain. Look at Facebook circa 2006. They added groups. People bitched. They got used to them. They added the News Feed. A bunch of groups were started about how the News Feed was horrible. The News Feed was gotten used to. I predict that once things settle down, it's gonna be ok. People (by nature) fear change, but it's gonna be ok.
Threads are still being imported, in reverse chronological order. Ie recent threads which are the ones we figure you care most about are in. Usergroups are being fixed. The system needs to recache itself so the fixes don't appear to you though we see them. It's a REALLY big forum.
Yeah...stuff is gonna be ironed out over the next while. And...for those interested, TapaTalk is coming soon.
The main thing i'm not a fan of is the fact that the forums run way slower at work for me, this thin client crap we have here is not conducive to advanced browsing...

We've been through this before. Yes, at the moment I am of the opinion that this whole thing totally sucks. Badly. I thought the same thing about the last big change. Among other things, I think having the whole world line up as slaves for Facebook and Twitter is ludicrous. But I'm willing to be open minded for the nonce. And ignore the insult neg rep from that cumdumpster NC-whatever. He's from North Canton, where they're all like that.
I don't mind some integration, it can be nifty, but I also appreciate the ability to control the integration, and this seems to have that functionality, so other than the visual changes, I'm not entirely unpleased.
