TRUE According to rule 7.4 (b) the wording was changed this year to sudden victory - with the victory highlighted in green to indicate it is a new change.
Sorry USSF your answer is incorrect and you ("expert"...lol) have been issued a blue card. The answer is FALSE! The question was: All overtime periods in the MISL will now be referred to as "SUDDEN VICTORY". According to rule 7.4 Overtime Period: section (b) "The overtime period shall be fifteen (15) minutes. It shall be a sudden victory period with the team which scores first declared the winner. If a winner has not been decided in the first overtime period, additional fifteen (15) minute sudden death overtime periods shall be played until a winner is declared." So, according to the Official MISL rules, the first overtime period is Sudden Victory. Any additional overtime periods are Sudden Death. MISL BIG FORUM FANS 1 USSF REF 0
Just in case someone thought they had to kill the losing team's players... Not really sure why they changed it, but it was most certainly changed.
A self proclaimed "expert" should not be fooled so easily. All in good fun though and I will give you another shot......a USSF REF ONLY QUESTION...... on Thursday.
Well now I'm on to your degree of attention to detail... As our last President said, "Fool me once, shame on — [pauses] — shame on you. Fool me — [pauses] — You can't get fooled again."
MISL RULES QUESTION #2 The MISL referess are boss hog. They have the power to warn, penalize, eject any coach, player or team personnel from the second they enter the arena until they leave following the game. Prior to the game, certain procedure should be followed. Sixty minutes prior to the game the referees should: A) Receive a complete player and goalkeeper uniform (shirt, shorts and socks) from each team for inspection. B) Distribute the official line-up card to both teams Head Coach. C) Receive the official line-up card from both teams Head Coach. D) Inspect the playing field and goals, including team benches and penalty boxes. E) Check cheerleader locker room to make sure it is void of players.
Going to go with B...I'm always one of the first ones in the door at the Cell (an hour before game time) and I don't remember the refs being on the field until the players come out for warmups. E seems like a ridiculous rule if it's in the book. I swear I've seen coach Litton handing in a lineup card about half an hour before kickoff...so yeah, I'll stick with B.
ussf ref , can you tell me why all these yellow cards are getting pulled this year . your now seeing 2-4 in a game did the misl want to inforce something
I think it's C because when I get to a Blast game at 6:35 (when doors open up) I don't see any refs checking the field. Hopefully they have done that at least another 30 min before that allotted time because even then players are out there on the field warming up (mainly the away team). If it's not C it's B
I have been at the field before public and have dealt with the referees and I am going to go with D since I have seen them do that before even going to their locker room or one the first things they do when they come out of their locker room. And it was usually my job to check the cheerleaders locker room for any reason.
ISN , you know you can go in before 6:30 at the early gate E-7 its to the left of the will call window I Go in at about 5:30 its the only time you can realy hang out and have time to talk with the players
