Nice stats there. Kid is exploding in Roma. The fans love him, he has found his comfort zone, he's a starter, basically everything what he didn't have in Lyon.

Yep, I'm happy for him. He will grown lot more and mature faster as well. This is great for him, I still believe he will be a special player when he is around 25-28 years old, just like how Dzeko is right now world class.

He's 21, dude. Give him a break, it's just a matter of time.

IDK man, he just needs to toughen up I guess. He's still weak in challenges.

Pjanic compensates his lack of strength with agility, vision and balance. That's how he wins most of his challenges, by being smarter and quicker than his opponent, he doesn't need strength at all.

Many Roma fans have been criticizing him since December saying he hasn't been good enough at all. I'm worried about Pjanic.

Relax, he has been injured for quite some time. He'll get back in shape again soon.

Well let's break it down - he was a bench warmer at Lyon for a good season and a half because of the idiotic coach and club politics, and then he was out for half a season at Roma. He's fine. He just needs a full season to show what he can do.

So I was watching a couple Pirlo highlight vids and can't help but compare him to our Pjanic in playing style.

Pjana already has 33 national team caps at 22 yrs of age.

1521 Notice how their numbers form a box with the 5 and the 2 making a mirror image.

Sucks that Roma fails as a club.. even if they got that injection of cash.

They're building something new, it takes time. Borini, Osvaldo, De Rossi, Pjanic, Gago, Kjaer,.. I have a feeling Roma will surprise everyone this season.

Pjanic has never played a full season without injuries, being benched by Puel, whatnot. I'd like to see him play a full season like Vitez said.

11-12 season he played 29 games, scored 4 goals, and assisted 12 (Lyon and Roma). That's really good for a naturally more reserved playmaker like Pjanic (he likes tracking back and creating plays from deep it seems - like Pirlo).

They either looked spectacular or a side worthy of Serie B they were so inconsistent as a team last year... They have potential, but they need to find a coach that will bring consistency. Milan and Inter are in bad shape right now, so if Roma wants to come onto the scene, this is their chance. I know from Milans perspective the best transfer coming to Milan is Montolivo. While an anchor like Nesta is still leaving. Roma can get at the Serie A.

Actually, now they're building something new-new, and not new. Luis Enrique resigned and now Zdenek Zeman is their new coach. It will be a different system probably but one based on possession and attacking football, which should be good for Pjanic.

I hope you're right. I love the culture and history of Rome and their biggest club deserves some success for its great fans and not so rich club history. Zeman is a very good coach from what I have seen at his past teams.
