From Gazzetta: Galli has informed Inzaghi that Allegri will arrive at the training ground Inzaghi:""We're working, Allegri shouldn't disturb us."Tell him not to cross the pitch, the boys are training, he must use the sideline" Allegri:' "You want to take my place?' Inzaghi:"Sure, I will take your place and do even better" Galli was embarrassed and wanted to calm the situation down Inzaghi:""We're training here, try to be a serious coach not an amateur" Allegri:"Don't try to bullshit me!" Inzaghi:""You,don't try to bullshit me. I told you we're training here. Go away" LOL Inzaghi has a big mouth
I'm sure Pippo didn't want to go out like he did. If anything, if it were up to him I think he wanted to play another year (as well as the CL) and go out on his terms. I know the management downplayed the whole thing but I wonder how much truth there is behind all of this? This picture supposedly was taken after the blowup.....
At this point with the lineup as it stands, I'm fairly confident most Milan fans wouldn't have had a problem with a player like Pippo being a super sub in any situation, league or CL. I hope he can pass off his "street smarts" in the box to the younger generation. A few Pippo's, right about now, would be nice coming through the ranks!
I read he is selling the club to a certain Italian chocolate maker- Michele Ferrero- who is the richest man in italy 19 billion to his name...
"There are reports that Milan are in preliminary talks to sell the club to Michele Ferrero, the head of a chocolate empire. President Silvio Berlusconi is said to be increasingly frustrated with the pressures of running a football club and is on the look-out for new investors. Newspaper ‘Leggo’ today claims there are early negotiations with Ferrero for a sale in early 2013. Ferrero is the head of a chocolate empire that includes Nutella and Ferrero Rocher, making him one of the richest men in Italy. It’s claimed he has already analysed the books and is preparing to step in with at least a partial investment." http://football-italia DOT net/25470/chocolate-magnate-milan
New rumor is that a secret admirer, supposedly an actor/dancer from LA with Spanish and Italian roots and a wealth of knowledge on the global economic situation has inadvertently put a stop to the sale after a series of private meetings with B&G whereby he has illuminated them on how to better make da monies. It was reported that B was particularly impressed and has appointed the new money man (now known as the new "Mr. X") as the clubs new director of finances where he will put his vision into practice with his assistant, also to remain anonymous but has reportedly single handedly started and grown, from it's infancy, the biggest fan club for past legend Schevchenko. A non profit organization (because it makes no monies, but has a religious following that meet up every Wednesday evening via a secret Communication portal online to discuss the legend) boasting a world wide membership into the millions! These two superstars, B&G believe, will help turn this club into the fierce destoryer it once was. I'm so excited!!!
