Re: Mikkel Diskerud can choose US or Norway NT Mikkel, I know it doesn't play a role in your decision making process, but for me it would be fantastic to have a Norwegian-American on the US team. I myself am of Norwegian decent (my mother's grandfather was from Voss, so I'm not quite as Norwegian as yourself). I also do research with Norwegian museums and universities (I just got back from the University of Bergen and the Bergen Museum). I think that you made a very good case for yourself with 3 assists on the 3 goals scored against european competition. I hope to see you with the US team in the future and wish you the best of luck. I have a feeling that the roster Rongen used of mostly college players for the CONCACAF qualifying tournament will not be the same one used for the U-20 World Cup. I do have one question since I'm from the Dallas area originally and am a FC Dallas fan: I know you said that Anthony Wallace and Brek Shea were good players, but what about Peri Marosevic who is now a first year player for FC Dallas. He's been scoring a LOT for the U-20's, do you see good things for him in the future? Takk, Kyle

Re: Mikkel Diskerud can choose US or Norway NT Mix went in the 83rd minute. He sent a long pass from a little bit longer than mid-field, ran towards the goal. The ball was passed around a bit, before he kicked it into the goal, sliding as struck the ball. He played a great game, lots of long passes, really precise. Great debut!

I was very impressed with the quality of his long passes from the right side right to players making runs on the left.

It looks like Stabaek had the run of play all night and very well could have been a big win. A call goal back, an obvious missed penalty, and a ball ring off the post late.
