Magee joins Twitter: https://twitter.com/magee9 Definitely thinking he’s making a push for a big contract – he certainly deserves one.
I'm a Chicago fan and although to me it seemed like a fair trade on paper it seemed all you Galaxy fans knew better. Magee is one of if not the most underrated players in the league. We know Magee's value now in Chicago, he's one of those guys that makes the whole team better and is constantly giving all the credit to his teammates.
He will get that big contract or he will leave Chicago for a club that'll give it to him. He is the reigning MLS MVP and deserves to be paid like one.
You must not know the Highlander very well. While I'm sure he'll get a pay bump, he's not a super star with a bloated head so I really doubt he'd bounce if they don't pay him exactly what he wants. Also, he's back home. I don't think he'll want to just pack up again.
If all we heard about family is true, you are dead right. BTW, I again ask, is Magee even a free agent or is there still time on his contract? His negotiating leverage is not very good if there is still a year or two on his current agreement.
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/24/s...les-for-a-ticket-to-brazil.html?smid=re-share I'd really like this to happen for him. I'd rather see Magee representing us in Brazil than EJ.

He signed a new contract this year. I would guess it’s the standard 3 year deal. http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/1110...y-sign-three-to-new-contracts-including-magee
Magee called up for the January USMNT training camp. Hope he earns a spot in the friendly against Korea. http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/...-called-up-as-usmnt-january-roster-announced/
I hope, despite the potential loss to the Fire 2014, that Magee kills it in camp and against Korea and takes the last forward spot from Wondo. Lord knows he'd be a huge benfit to the Nats at the WC, even if he never makes the field.
USMNT training. Magee serves one up to Landon and he scores! Nice to see those two connect again, at Stubhub no less. Hopefully we'll see more of it against Korea in a few weeks. http://instagram.com/p/i9hEJAlQx4/

The decision by Mike Magee on Saturday was that he did not want Landon Donovan to set the record on him in Chicago. So instead, he put a curse on the Philadelphia Union so that they put his Chicago Fire off the hook. Such a class act. Once a G, always a G.
