That made me laugh a lot. How do you come up with these labels?

 

An idea for one... Philly Bimbo Brew. If you don't get a chuckle from that, chances are you're dead.

 

I've got this 300 dpi file so it's ready to go.

In this case I started with "Big Russian" as a starting point. I brainstormed ideas about what would be emblematic of a 'Big Russian,' and the first thought that came into my head was the former Russian wrestler Alexander Karelin:



In doing so I cam across an image of an old Russian wrestler (Ivan Podduny) that is used in the label. Considering that this is an Imperial Russian Stout and the wrestler competed around the time of the Russian revolution I thought it would be a good thematic fit.

It may be hard to tell, but I also tweaked the background image behind the wrestler to feature an old, decaying Soviet-era stadium.

In any event, lots of brainstorming in trying to come up with an idea then being consistent with the theme.

 

Like I had to even ask ...

 

To be clear, I'm bringing labels for Revere's Revenge only.

You sir are obtaining image files for use by Incredibrew, who, at $15 dollars a pop, will provide tiny little self adhesive labels for the other two selections.

 

Sadly, that joke is played.

 

So? It's the official running gag for them, why not make it in beer form? Something good coming out of something so idiotic.

Without reading the rest of the posts, I'll drop to 2 cases if that helps.

 

Are there any revs soccer widows, Monty? Seems to me like they all come to the matches and bring the kids. How about "Orange slices for everyone IPA"?
