    Re: Michael Parkhurst to Denmark?

Califf is a centre back while Hutchinson is a midfielder, so it's difficult to compare, because they would both suck if they switched positions.... However, Califf was captain at Aalborg when they won the Danish Championship last season... Hutchinson was/is on the other hand an average regular for FC København, though on the strongest squad in Scandinavia... on paper, much stronger than Aalborg ... Still, Califf was a more important player for a team that won the championship...

Califf was also on the SAS Team of the Season last year, correct? Was Hutchinson?

Soccer Insider (Steve Goff) reports that the deal is done, and that it is FC Nordsjaelland.

For the eternally curious, you can watch FCN right now take on AGF Aarhus on TVU player channel 68897 to scout Parky's future team.

Unfortunately this last game before the winter break was of hopelessly poor quality... However, after the game the FCN coach said that they, besides Nicolai Stokholm, were going to make one more important signing this winter, though he would not reveal the name or anything else about this player at this point..

    sure, it's really easy.

My first stop would be at myp2p.eu: http://myp2p.eu/

Second, click on the software tab at the top. From there you can find any p2p software. you're looking for TVU player.

Once you have it, links to matches can be found on myp2p.eu, as well. Danish Superliga matches are usually streamed by "Danish Delight" and are on the TVU player. It's usually pretty high quality for a p2p stream.

Enjoy! I've been watching at least one or two Superliga matches a week this year. FC Kobenhavn is televised quite a bit so just get used to that.

Yes, It's because its always FC københavn, Brøndby and AGF Aarhus who get by far the most media coverage in Denmark...

    Re: Michael Parkhurst to Denmark?

If this has not been written elsewhere then Parkhurst has signed a 3-year contract with FC Nordsjælland :

    http://gramtrans.com/gt/url/?url=ht...rtID=937&pair=dan2eng&x-form-id=translate_url

Ther is a few words that got totally lost in translation... Parkhurst is saying that "..... And the more I heard of FCN, the more interested I got. When I went to Denmark to look at the facilities and talk to the coaching staff, I was so impressed by it all, that the choice was easy for me", said Michael Parkhurst about his decision.

well, I'm sure you could. I've tried it before with computer games, but if you don't have a HD tv, the picture may not be that good coming straight from the computer. I may be wrong. I'm not a total techy, but that was just my experience.

Makes sense. The Revo are the poor stepchild at Foxboro. It's got to be depressing playing in Gilette Stadium with one side closed off. I know it's been depressing for me to attend games in such a bush league milieu.

Parkhurst will never be able to bench press more than Gooch. But FCN just picked up the most intelligent American defender.

He really does look 17 LOL and skinny. Someone should take him out for a steak. Give him a few months and he will probably pack on a few pounds.

    Re: Michael Parkhurst to Denmark?

It will probably take him some time to adapt his game to the new league, but one of the best things about watching the Revs the last few years was watching Parky clean house in the back. Parkhurst has the ability to pick the ball off without needing to take down his man, and when he's able to do that, he'll take one touch on the ball and immediately start looking upfield for the outlet to move forward. More than most, Parkhurst avoids defending by just clearing the ball away into touch or booting it upfield.
