What are your opinions on Michael Owen joining Blackburn. His contract is coming up to expire, just wondering what people think of this idea.
I don't care how much he'd cost us in wages and transfer - I want him. He's a proven goalscorer of genuine quality, who has been unlucky with injuries in the past few years. It would be a huge risk, but the benefits we could reap would be massive. The only problem is Boy Wonder wouldn't even consider moving to minnows like us. Revelian
The only thing that puts me off are his wages and his injuries. The fact that he'd be free would let us budget more wages for him, but even then he's injured a lot. We're paying enough money to warm the physio's bench as it is. Pay as you play deal would be ok. If he'd take that I'd love to see him at Ewood.
