I'm not sure this means he's gone for next season, as the story appears to indicate he's out for the 2009/2010 MISL season (for the Blast, this runs from 11/13/2009 - 3/21/2009).
However, just for the MISL season. I assume that something was worked out with the Aztex, since they signed him for a couple years. The Blast's season ends in March (except for playoffs). That means he'll be match-fit right from the start (assuming he doesn't get hurt). (And, as an aside, I wonder when the Aztex will change the spelling of the name, since it's consistently misspelled.)
I hope never. I like the spelling "Aztex" more than "Aztec" or "Aztecs". If they changed it, then I couldn't make comments about the author's intelligence when they misspell it.
