They never mentioned anything about the School Board property on his last visit to Miami, only the 4 you stated.
This could be trouble. After the Marlins Park financial debacle, could a referendum pass if it comes to that? http://www.laprensasa.com/309_america-in-english/2483892_miami-beckham-can-t-build-soccer-stadium-at-port.html
Well the proposal by RC has little to nothing to do with port operations either, so I don't know what this means overall.
As long as RC isn't in charge of cleanliness and sanitation. We don't need everyone getting violently ill after every match.
If someone on team Becks hasn't thought of this, they aren't earning their salary. And I will gladly do a better job for a slightly smaller fee.

Why The MLS Stadium Project at PortMiami is The Better Development Option? http://southernlegionmls.com/why-th...t-portmiami-is-the-better-development-option/
The fallout from that meeting may show that Miami/Dade commissioners may not support Beckham's port stadium. Read more here: http://www.miamiherald.com/2014/04/08/4046872/commissioners-ok-new-port-debt.html#storylink=cpy
So much of that is so badly reasoned that it calls into question whether the writer had any idea what's going on at all. Miami is losing so much money hosting RC that they're borrowing $400 million to cover the shortfall, which will bring total debt owed by the city on the port to over a billion dollars, but RC is a treasured tenant and the thought of them going to "another port" - as if they didn't dock in Miami because, well. it's Miami - is terrifying to them because they'd "lose millions". Rather than billions, I guess. Furthermore, current plans call for a relocation of the RC fueling facility within 3 years anyway. So it's not like they're being kicked off the land. In fact, nowhere is it even implied that putting a stadium there will in any way infringe on RC's options. If Beckham/Fuller etc. don't put up a commercial center the only thing that will change is that someone else will do it, only without a stadium. Left unsaid is the REAL reason RC is opposed to the place and, like all NIMBYs everywhere, their main complaint is that there will be an increase in traffic sometimes. That's really all it boils down to.
In NY the new mayor is willing to lose 240 mill a year on a failed parking lot I believe instead of giving tax breaks to a business like it does virtually every other business in the city. Someone correct me if I am wrong....but this is why I hate politics and wish most of them would get VD and suffer miserably. To harsh? Then I hope they die in a ...
Which is also ridiculous, because the 9 million sq ft of commercial and retail proposed by RC would add even more traffic and infrastructure burdens on the Port. Instead of a small constant number and spikes around game time (known months in advance and planned when the Heat are not playing) there would be a large amount of traffic randomly and consistently generated by the site. The only reason the Port wants that is because they control it.
Also preponderantly taking place at 9:30pm on a Saturday (the main traffic snarl associated with sports is at the end of games, because people tend to stagger their arrivals, but not their departures), rather than at the same time as all the rest of the traffic in the city. It is pretty funny, between these two cases, how much sports gets singled out. Partially it's because everybody carries sharp memories of some particularly bad deals--but another part is because it's the one that's 'safe' for politicians. Sports subsidies tend to get dealt out in the light, but if the citizens knew how many were doled out in the dark, and for how much, they might be a little more philosophical about the thing.
Intelligent people without mental issues do not run for office. We know better and manipulate from the shadows. Sad, but true.
