en la Puerta 4 del Estadio Morelos fue navajeado en el cuello Eduardo Manuel Vargas Rendón, aficionado de Monarcas de 25 años, quien según las autoridades resultó herido en una riña con otro aficionado de Cruz Azul que se dio a la fuga.

La Policía Estatal Preventiva detuvo a Osvaldo Delgado Marines, quien fue arrestado en las inmediaciones del Hospital Civil por la patrulla 721, cuyos agentes lo sometieron y lo trasladaron al área de barandillas.

Eduardo Manuel fue trasladado al Hospital Civil donde su estado se reportó como delicado debido a la profundidad de la herida, desde la oreja izquierda hasta la yugular, por lo que al cierre de esta edición se reportaba en peligro de muerte.

Despicable display by Corona, Chaco, and the fat guy, they are all idiots. Suspend them all for at least 5 games.

The altercation that Corona had at that night club and the altercation he had with Morelia's personal trainer are two entirely different situations and should be put in context.

Corona was actually one of the players that was trying to defuse the situation with the fan.



After watching the video and making out what he said [lip reading], you can tell by the fan's gestures that he was there to mock and incite the player.

I'm sorry, this picture says it all. You just invaded the pitch and retaliated against a player, started a royal rumble ...and as you escorted out of the pitch with a smile on your face?

If I was a fan trying to meet my idols and invaded the pitch, I wouldn't have a smile on my face, I'd be distraught after the altercation.




Going back to Corona....

The trainer had it coming. There is a world of difference between two players throwing fisticuffs and a member of the coaching staff against a player. A thousand things are said between players and tempers flare up. It is not right, but it is natural. There is no reason on Earth as to why a personal trainer, should even have an altercation or a verbal exchange with any member of the opposing team. And what I find disturbing is that already, the press are just showing the images of the headbutt and not putting the entire incident into context. That trainer went into that scuffle to incite and he threw the first punch!!

Chaco should not be suspended, he should be banned, this is the kind of shit that can start a riot. I am sure that players have instructions on what to do if a supporter invades the pitch and most likely it is not trying to beat the shit out of them. The idiot that invaded the pitch should get at least a month in jail, this kind of crap has to be stopped. The stupid Morelia coach should also be banned. As for Corona, he is a tool and should be headbutted out of the NT, he already missed the WC for violent conduct and now he pulls this one.

Corona just secured his starting place in El Tri.

Tomas Boy just said that the fan that ran onto the field was a Cruz Azul fan because he came down from their section and wanted to shake hands with Torrado. He also said that Yosgart Gutierrez attacked one guy from his coaching staff who then retaliated by punching Ponce and the fight broke out.

From the video, it looks like Yosgart throws a kick at the fat trainer after he slapped Ponce. It also looks like Yosgart missed and ended up kicking someone else.
I think if that trainer had not started shit, it would have just ended with Chaco and that fan that invaded the pitch. I really don't understand why the Morelia players and staff got involved at all.

I will never understand why a fan wants to run out on the pitch. First of all, it is trespassing, so by doing so, they have broken the law. Why do you think these idiots get thrown in jail after it happens?

But I am not so sure this guy wasn't already inside the ropes when the game started. Doesn't Morelia's stadium have a pretty big fence around the field? That leads me to believe he is somehow connected to a Morelia VIP.

The Morelia assistant was complicit in the second half of the ruckus, but that does not excuse Corona for what he did, or what the other guy did either.

Corona should be suspended for the next season and banned from the Tri for at least a year. If they ban Carlos Vela for 6 months for bringing some tail to a team hotel, then Corona would be lucky to get just a year. What he did was assault and battery, and if that happens anywhere but on the field, he would be facing some serious jail time.

It only takes one idiot to ruin it for the everyone else. Morelia's stadium should not be allowed to stage the first leg of the final, but since they are owned by TV Azteca, I am guessing the loss of games will happen at the start of next season.

Tomas Boy is an idiot and I would not put it past him if he himself sent that guy in there. But the response by the players and the trainer is inexcusable. I also notice there was a serious lack of security personnel trying to get that fan out of there.

It would actually be simple assault... a simple slap on the wrist for a first time offense. It's like drunken fighting at a bar (Corona has plenty of experience). Plus, there's video of that dude punching and kicking so he can't sit there and act like he was assaulted out of nowhere.
