oh well there weren't any comments in the thread I was subscribed to and I rarely venture out of my watched threads page.
By far my favorite Calero Moment Pachuca is a classy organization who seems to be loyal to those who have helped it succeed. I honestly think that Calero has been their most iconic player, and naming the Huracan after him would be a moving touch.
I loved that finger waggle he gave to ********van. QEPD Calero. I hated him as a player, but I've heard nothing but good things about him off the field. CLass act.
Calero will never be forgotten. He was integral to Pachuca's era of dominance, which raised the profile of our football tremendously. __________ Here is the flight tracker for Mt: http://pt.flightaware.com/live/flight/ANA5/history/20121204/1930Z/KLAX/RJAA They just took off for Japan after an hour delay.
I thought he stuck around a bit too long but still a really good keeper in his day. I guess you could argue that the most iconic pachuca player in modern times is either him or Caballero. Pretty sad cause the guy had nothing but good things to say about mexico. players/persons like him are always welcomed.
Damn...just as I'm reading the news about Calero the radio starts playing Rocket Man by Elton John. Lyrics aren't particularly relevant, admittedly, but something about the chorus and Elton's voice just got to me. "And I think its gonna be a long long time till touchdown brings me round again to find, I'm not the man they think I am back home." Shed a tear or two. Dgaf. Hasta pronto, Miguel. :'(
I will always remember his class. He had skill for both club and country, yes, but his calm and classy aura is something I will never forget because it seemed like a throwback to players of yesteryear. He lived and breathed for that Pachuca crest
