They rank like two spots above colombia -_-....but watch how the Euro snobs are gonna be loving this. buts still...*in b4 "partido molero*" talk
Typical strategy, see it all the time in some collegiate programs where in the preseason you can pick and choose your opponents: start against weaker teams, work on strategy, build momentum, etc., build up to games that matter. Why would FEMEXFUT want Chepo and the new regime to start off on the wrong foot? That might create doubters out of the believers, and haters out of the doubters. FYI (from the thread on Mexico's record against other counties): Mexico vs Hungary- 7 wins 2 losses 1 draw
Hungary used to be the absolute top dogs in the world game. It's sad to to see them fall as far as they have. I seem to remember one of their youth sides make a very nice run in a youth world cup recently, so they might make the move from completely irrelevant to also-ran.
Cool! More history, at least recent memory: Remember Stoichkov? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgIuADN0gz0"]YouTube - Mexico Vs Bulgaria Usa '94 Hristo Stoichkov's Goal[/ame]
Bosnian media report they will play Mexico in Atlanta on 9. February. http://www.xtratime.org/forum/showthread.php?t=246579&page=257
First it was Hungary, then Bulgaria, then Estonia, and now they're saying either Bosnia, like someone posted earlier, or Ghana. What we do know is that it will be a partido molerisimo.
That would be sick! We could rub it in the nads face just like they rubbed it in ours that they beat South Africa. That would suck.
