Marcelo is a beast going forward and will give Meza a headache we all know that..... but when the blood gets to Marcelo's head he pushes way too far forward and doesn't get back in time so ,assuming its Barrera, the right wing should have all the space in the world

    Yup.

    That's it.

If that were the case, i would of bashed Aldo's performance.

Fair enough...I could see why you guys are reacting the way you are post game. It must be frustrating losing like that and watching a team you seldom get to watch piss away a tie. Mexican fans are spoiled in the U.S. and it's hard for us to relate to that...good perspective.

you can't or else your bias would be too obvious, if it isn't obvious enough already. Severo meza rocked the right side against bigger opponents in bosnia and wales. Zavala has been in these 2 friendlies the one to rape the mid. if these 2 friendlies are any indication, they both have done really good and there is no reason to think that they won't do the same vs brasil.

That's always been Mexico's style. We play on the wings, that and short passes to get through the middle.

I thought it was strange when we started playing Euro style and trying to do long passes up the middle.

I don't think it was quite Euro style, but more of Salcido constantly shitting out long passes down the middle that ended up in lost possession.

Except he's been pretty good so far. Unless you want Efrain Juarez running around out of position rendering the backline to just centerbacks...

I'm not one of those, but LOL? really, I think Aldo does offer things Chicharo can't, he holds way better, he can actually put a body on CMs, and he had some nice passes. Again, not demeaning Chicharo... both good I think both have their place... still don't get that small mentality of "I must humiliate you player in order to make mine look better" they both have merits, both play for our team.

Rather have who? These comments are easy to make, specially before a Brazil game because if Marcelo causes any damage, you come out with "I told you so"... tell us who should take their place please. I don't know about Meza, but I'll take him over Efra today, and Zavala, well I'll let him speak for himself.

I think all of Cheech, Aldo and Oribe will play a key role for us in the WCQ... we should be glad we have a good core of strikers instead of puting them down.

Oribe offers flair and long distance shots
    Cheech is the ultimate poacher.
Aldo offers the size and holding of the ball with his back to the net.

yes, one in the starting XI and one on the bench

I don't "have a player". Cheech is a superior goal scorer. Proven at both club and international level. Dangerous against anyone and everyone. Glad we have Aldo and Peralta as back ups.

I (like you) am also not a coach... Franco before him, was sometimes used to "soften" D's as well as provide some ball retention for others to run by and get open... I guess what I am trying to say is there are situations where Aldo is a much better option than Cheech so your absolute omniscient statement fails depending on who we are playing, I can see Cheech as a super sub to a tired, run down, open defense, and in that case I would use Aldo to start. Did Cheech not have great success against D's in second halfs? (league)

Hey guys, I'd like to apologize to all of you here for getting carried away last night after the Mexico - Bosnia game.

I admit I got carried away and said some things that were both very offensive and cannot be un-said, no matter how many apologies.

I've had a rough week, and this was one of the only times the Bosnians here in the States got to see our NT play live, so I felt gut-wrenched seeing us lose in such ugly fashion. I also overheard some Mexican fans say we're a 3rd world country, etc etc but there are these kinds of fans in all corners of the world, and unfortunately I was one of those last night when I projected my anger towards you guys.

So again, apologies from me. You won't hear from me like that again, and hopefully we have another friendly next year in the States, and most likely we will.. seeing as the Americans love cashing in on our attendance :D
