What a matchup! This should be a helluva game. There's no reason to think this game won't live up to the hype. I wonder if Mexico will play defensively like they did against Brazil or if they'll open up the game more like they did in the other two games.

    Can't wait.

I feel more nervous about this game than the Brazil one.

Argentina is playing better than Brazil right now.

I think Mexico will stick to the tecnique against Brazil, Defend with 6 or 8 players and ahve the rest waiting to counter attack. It wont be an easy match, but there is no doubt in my mind that Mexico will win.

by the way, I dont see why they have to close threads just cause they dont like the person that started it. That's all i'm going to say, i dont wanna look stubborn cause i'll have more neg points see ya

by the way I think this game will be won with the goal keepers, that's another reason why i'm confident, all we need is one goal and keep them at 0.

I don't think using the same tactics like against Brazil would work this time...

I want Mexico to win, but I dont think they will.

    I see an inverse effect...

    Mexico 1-0 Argentina
    Mexico 0-4 Brazil

    Mexico 1-0 Brazil
    Mexico 0-4 Argentina

this is going to be a close game please do remember that the argentina mexico played in copa america is very different. This argentinian team is more challenging scores a lot of goals and is more dangereous then brazil.
But through it all mexico will win 1-0 very close game.

I have a bad feeling about this one :( .......Beieve it or not MExicos defence isnt that good, it's just a hype from the Media and the inability of the oposing team not scoring.Todays game against greecs we didnt win not one jump ball, were gonna need verything we have to beat Argentina.

Against Argentina were gonna need speed, like RAmonsito and mEdina. KIKIn is to slow and Lozano is a waste of time right now.

he scored a very difficult header.

Mexico has only made 3 goals.

So you can say that Fonseca has scored 33% of El Tri's goals.

ARGIES are already spicing this game up saying this is a
great opportunity to get REVENGE for the Copa America loss
and the BOCA Defeat to CHivas :)

Its going to be yet another wild clash between mexicans
and argies. It does worry me of course, argentina is playing
great but i have also seen mexico play as good as they have
in a long time, you guys dont think argies have to be worried
too ? I Do.... argentina can play great against everyone and
beat almost everyone but the one team that will always
give them a hard time is Mexico.

the fact that they see this game as a way to get back at us for the copa ameica and Boca jrs defeat, means that they respect us and see us as a threat, I assure you Argentina will not be over confident, this will a hell of a game to watch.

I keep reading about the German coach complaining about the lack of punch of his forwards and yet they scored two against Argentina, so either this guy was bluffing or the Argies have a weakness in their deffense, the game its going to be tough for Mexico, but I dont think its going to be a walk in the park for Argentina

I agree. This will be no walk in the park, but that can be said of almost any NT matches. I think we will win, but I'm not as pompous to believe it's a sure thing. The game we won in the copa recently, I thought argentina played better, but we we're fortunate to get the win. I was not that impressed. What happened afterward was a thorough as$whoopin from brazil. This time around though, I was very impressed by the win over brazil. I believe we clearly played very well and had great strategy. So a copa america repeat performance is less likely imo. The lackluster game against greece does worry me a little though.

Yeah, Ive been watching Medina lately and he has had some wonderful chances with the ball(He would've had a goal today, if it wasn't for that pendejo of a ref! ) He should be taken in for Kikin, I think!

I can see Mexico winning although I was expecting to see this as the final match but oh well... heres what i think LAVOLPE WILL DO:

    ------------------------OSWALDO---------------------------

    ----------OSORIO-------MARQUEZ-------SALCIDO------------

    --MENDEZ----------PARDO------TORRADO---------PINEDA----

    ---------------ZINHA--------------MORALES-----------------

    -----------------------BORGETTI----------------------------

    or

    -----------------------OSWALDO---------------------------

    ----------OSORIO-----MARQUEZ------SALCIDO--------------

    --MENDEZ--------------PARDO-----------------PINEDA------

    -------------ZINHA--------------MORALES------------------

    ------------FONSECA------------BORGETTI------------------

I'd prefer the first formation if we don't want to risk anything and be solid in defense and have a great counterattack but if we want to try to make a lot of goal opportunities and attack more, i'd go with the second one. Again, this is what I think LaVolpe will do...

    I predict..... Mexico 1-0
