    As a pseudo-enviro, I'm torn about the DVR as chupa-energia news. I love my DVR.

    What do I love in addition to my DVR? The ability to record remotely, as I forgot to set the Copa America to tape tonight.

    I have google music. Haven't played with it much, but to be honest, I use pandora most of the time these days, so I don't see too much of an advantage. You can listen to your own music, that is the only difference as far as I can tell.

    yea that was my initial reaction after reading their circle ideas.

    I hated when the attached the Google buzz crap to my gmail

    hopefully this wont be forcefully added to gmail either. (unless its cool)

    I think the biggest thing google+ has going for it is it allows people to have a clean start (for those who experimented with facebook, ended up with crazy friends or networks that they for some reason (politeness, drama?) won't get rid of). Who knows if it'll catch on. Buzz was terrible.

    I'm too lazy to switch over to the music threads. This just came on in google music.
