Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't see a thread discussing the new jersey. I for one do not like it, it's too busy and I don't like all the different shades of greens nor the "pinstripes" The socks I could learn to like. I'm hoping our away and if there is a 3rd jersey do not follow this template. I'll buy it, becuase that is what I do, but I'm just not a fan. I wanted a simple design. That said, it's looking like they are going to retail for $90 based on the pre-order price at WorldSoccerShop.com. thoughts?
Ugliest piece of shit I have ever seen. This is the kind of crap you see teams wearing in those old world cup pictures of 1994 and before.
As much as I dislike the jersey we wore, I hated the GK one even more. That thing is terrible an makes our crest be non existent basically.
WAT. That was the decent one. The rest look like fn Power Rangers. The socks make everyone look like they are wearing boots. Is the away version of this Uni white and red with green socks? I'd like to see that version.
The bitonal idea isn't bad. I like the color. The lightning bolts ruin it. Had they replaced that with the solid white stripe continuing to the center of the shirt instead, it could have been decent. At least we won with it.
The new kit looks sooo fackin ugly I hate it, I can't stand it... But i started liking it. Im going to buy it.
I think they killed it with stripes and the zigzag designs. The back of the jersey looks nice with the contrast of the greens and the thin strip across the back...go figure.
Agreed. The back of the jersey looks better than the front. Alas, if we are able to wear this kit down in Brazil next year, I really can't complain...
it's fugly and I won't buy. Last jersey was the best. Simple and elegant. Hopefully this will drop the price on the old jersey. I really want the white one.
Will have to hit up Marshall's soon. Picked up the goalie jersey a few weeks back for $20. Must have been other retailers dumping their stock to make room for the new one.
