That moment when Carrick walked up to him was great. Carrick was so happy.

I love Cheech I really do, but in United setup he needs to be a sub. Much more productive and benefical to the team that way.

Cheech as a starter would definitely work in a setup built for him.....Expecting him to make goals out of nothing with little to no service from the wings is not fair on him....

There has been great improvement shown by him...His first touch and passing have been better than when he came here....He's constantly improving and is young...You shouldn't write him off as just a super sub....not yet atleast...He has age on his side....

Some reason, finally. He has drastically improved his body strength, and his movement and passing are also significantly better. Last year was a fluke - anyone can look at the toll he took playing for Mexico and understand why it was an off year.

He has a great attitude. I mean, some of the transfer wizards here would have sold off Solskjaer based on this attitude.

No doubt, but a lot less than before...and there are other culprits just as bad as him. I think he's going to have a big season.

Cheech is has an advantage in that if he comes on as a sub in games we are chasing, the team is playing in a manner that is suited to him. There will be at least 2 strikers on the pitch centrally and there will likely be attempts to get the ball wide and whip in crosses and the occasional through ball as well.

That said, his touch has got better and some of his passing has got better to the point where he's not an absolute disaster in build up anymore. Like has been said, if we play a certain way, it is fine if he starts.

But he's one of our worst players when he's not catered to, with the exception that occasionally in that situation he might still pop up and get a goal, which is why you gotta love the guy.

I'll also say that his confidence is high, but he needs to cut out the backheels, he tried a few recently that were just woeful.

    Agreed.
He has a great attitude plus he is unique in terms of the impact he can have off the bench like Solskjaer did.

As things stand, he is an asset to the club. He offers something different to our other strikers. I like the 4 forwards we have in 2 world stars and 2 up and coming youngsters with different skill-sets.

Love the guy. He has some of Ole's instincts about him, even if his finishing isn't comparable.

Ole had great finishing but what separates him and Cheech is the first touch. Cheech is a damned good finisher. Agree completely on the instincts though, homeboy has a spider-sense.

The 2 this past weekend were pure Ole goals. Reminded me of a double he scored against Newcastle in his last season with us.

Ole is my favorite all time footballer, so it's easy for me to be a fan of Cheech. I hope he has Ole's similar attitude and is willing to stay here for a long time.

I pissed on Kagawa's interviews when Johno was talking about them the other week, saying that performances matter and that interviews don't. With Cheech, it's like he was paid to say the right thing or something.

Hypocrite I am, his tone hits the right spot. He can't help but come across as humble and a nice fella. Mancrush. :x3:

That wasn't now it was over a month ago. Lefty crosses are fine, he is actually a decent striker of the ball with his left. Even if he wasn't, using both feet should always be encouraged.

Funny how we shit a guy for trying to use his left foot, then shit another guy for not even considering using his left boot.

(Cheech is fairly decent with both, btw)
