    You apparently didn't read enough. Also, WTF is an "Africa" card? Is that the same as the "race" card the racists over here use to impede any kind of growth and promote ignorance?

    Let's be realistic. He has a point. When he used Messi as an example I am quite sure he wasn't saying he was Messi level; that was obvious. He was just using a dominate figure/icon as an example when discussing his own situation.

    Are you telling me if he was Brazilian he wouldn't have a gigantic following? More endorsements? etc? Argentinian? English? Spanish?

    These things are the reality.

    It is why Cristiano from the beginning was pegged as second best to messi. He is Portuguese. I have said many times on this forum Cristiano's only sin was he wasn't born Spanish or Brazilian, because had he been not one person would argue who is the better of the two players.

    He should use players respective to his quality then. Like Sergi Busquets, who successfully replaced him at Barcelona. If you ask people on the streets "Do you happen to know what a Busquets is?", outside of Spain, most of them will think it's some sort of an advertisement campaign for a new brand of bisquits.

    The people that know football, will obviously know him, just like the people that know football know who Yaya Toure is.

    Yaya Toure is about as famous/recognized in Europe as every player of his level is. He's famous with people who know football, nobody else cares about him, and i can honestly say that this is 100% as it's supposed to be.

    Messi is on a different level, if he wants people to understand what his point is, he needs to come up with a realistic example for it.

    Not even the Portuguese believe that mess.

    With Ba being subbed in ahead of Torres I guess Torres is now no3 at the club. His playing days at Chelsea ar numbered. I can't not see him being transfered come summer.

    With no Drogba up front, Mikel being shafted to sub duty (despite being key to the 2012 CL win) and Matic cup tied I can't see anyone capable of containing Bayern / Real. Do you guys imagine a Ramires - Luiz midfield trying to contain us or Reus and co?

    I'm honestly shocked Luiz and Ramires are being played ahead of Mikel.
