Has Spalletti ever even mentioned anything about coming back to Roma or is this just a wishful plea?

Yeah this is how I feel. But I will be sick if they keep him and a better manager comes available and they just snub him.

He didn't say, "I'm want to come back to Roma", but I seem to remember him suggest he would love to manage Roma again, and he watches all our matches, etc.

That would be cool to see Spalletti back. Listening to his Fiorentino accent made me remember the time I lived in the Piazza Signoria......

    "he bono"

What on Earth is wrong with you? Deserves? Deserves?

How can you use the word "deserves" with Luis Enrique and not end it with "to get fired"?

In what universe does Luis Enrique deserve another season. What has he shown? That only half of Serie A has humiliated us. Give me a break.

What happened to patience? You even told me in the summer to wait 1 and a half years to judge LE. :D

what happenned is the fact that your team should not be humiliated the same way at the end of the season...it just shows no improvement

I gave him a season, I've seen enough. He needs to go. There has been no improvement what so ever under his tenure. He's simply not cut out for Serie A. I'm sure he'll do great in Spain where players score 50 goals a season.

Besides my post was serious. How can you you say "deserves" and not follow it with to be fired? Tell me one thing LE has brought to this team?

Is this a bad time to remind you that you still have his picture as your avatar? :p

If a poster can have a Moggi avatar than makes my stomach turn, then by god hopefully I can do the same to some of you.

In all seriousness I had forgotten, I do like LE. I wish him the best, but he can't be our coach next season. I'll even say this, if he goes to Barca he will win La Liga next season. Provided Jose leaves and goes to Man City.

Right now I don't see another option.

I don't like LE. I don't like him at all, but until a good coach comes on the market, you shouldn't replace him with someone like Ranieri or just a scab.

Trust me DDR, I don't like LE at all. I voted no to keeping him in the poll I started

I might even take Capello back over LE... well... let me think about that

I don't know why you're all so upset. We all knew we were gonna lose this. And we all knew it was gonna be bad once Bergonzi did what he was payed for. We scored 2 quick goals because our defense is horrible(again a thing we all knew), and it was over then and there. Give LE a proper defense and he will start winning. It's as simple as that.

In which case we agree the word "deserves" has no place in the conversation?

I don't know if it is as simple as giving him a proper defense. He simply can't change his methods, he is one dimensional

deserves is the wrong word choice.... let's say.... in the event that no capable coach is on the market, it is almost okay for LE to have another campaign

free coaches: Capello, Benitez, Villas Boas, Ranieri...possibly free: Mazzari, Hiddkink, Guardiola

The best case scenario would be to exchange Guardiola for LE...Otherwise we could give Villas Boas another chance (although he has failed big in every aspect at Chelsea, so he might turn up even worse than LE)

    hard luck for us,

guys, be patience, we won vs juve 4-0. now its their time to win.

not everytime we lose, u want a coach to go away.

then, who is better than LE to coach this young roma.

if they replace LE, they will need a coach who is better at handling youngsters.

    however,

LE have big flows, like he doesnt cheer his players when we are losing. come on even pep do that.

i have no idea why totti didnt play

    lets move on,

the loss was expected, but not like this.

P.S: why the hell we always be 10 man down with this ref. ALWAYS.
