Fine he doesn't have the best defender, but I challenge you to go look at the results for Barcelona B from last season and discover the truth about his defensive record. He must not have had defenders there either because they lost a ton of games letting in 3 to 4 or even 5 goals.

I checked out the Barca B results and they lost 4 games where the opponents scored 3 or more goals. I don't think 4 games out of 42 is "a ton of games".
