The problem is that there was a legitimate gripe with how this suspension was levied. They went outside of their own protocol, but I'm sure that this is the response Baldissoni got

 

I was hoping he would reach 18 goals before the end of the season, but it doesn't really matter anymore. We can play the remaining games with Christian Totti wearing Benitez waiter uniform as our striker and we will still finish above Napoli.

 

What I want to know is why all Chiellini's incidents continue to go unpunished since now they are going to video review whenever they feel like it. Why isn't one of his incident's being showed to these idiots.

 

less playing victim imo. he wouldn't have to serve the suspension if he didn't punch astori in the first place.

it appears that he's got an attitude problem. not problematic ones like osvaldo or cassano, but he just couldn't think clearly at times. the red card from last season comes to mind, and then punching astori is another. i don't think he'd cause an internal conflict by any means, but surely garcia should have a word with him in regards to toning down his ambition

 

It was a stupid move of Destro, he deserved a punishment for it. Three games is a bit harsh but hopefully he learns his lesson and cuts that out.

 

3 games is harsh

missing the world cup is harsher

but the biggest crime is that Prandelli won't be bringing one of the best Italians strikers to the World Cup. isn't that what the World Cup all about? the best football players of each country competing against each other?

 

I am fine with that, more rest for Destro and gives me one more reason not to root for Italy in the WC.

 

I'm not happy with prandelli's selections (though i don't think they're final), it will be impossible to pull me away from that tv when the azzurri take the field.

 

Destro's still has a chance to make the World Cup? Im sure Prandelli's decision is not final?
