Breaks my heart. Call me crazy, but I quite like Osvaldo venting when he doesn't get passes or when the rest of the team are complete wastes of space, it shows he f*cking cares. This last game he seemed very agitated, more than usual, he did not want to see Zeman leave this way.
Picture really doesn't say much he could be wiping sweat out of his eyes. His performance didn't really seem indicate any attachment to the coach. I saw little effort from Osvaldo this weekend, along with many others.
When I saw it live it looked like he was crying. Kept wipping both his eyes and had his head down as he was walking off the pitch.
I only saw that picture so I can't tell you. However there is a very large and vocal contingent in Rome who feel that Osvaldo, along with De Rossi, and Stekelenburg worked against Zeman.
I saw the scene when he was walking off. My first thought too was tears but who knows for sure. Could have been wiping sweat.
I hoped that Destro's efforts would bring out more than Osvaldo. But Pablo still played with the Hollywood style - lazy, moaning pre-madonna. And for all of Destro's shortcomings he does run as far as his heart allows. Even Lamela's performances over the past 7 weeks have been quite woeful.
