ok this game just got crazy. director fixing a cam on stekelenburg now. my opinion is both goals are not gio's fault. defenders take all the blame. he saved the first shot in the first goal. where was the defense ti recover it?. also second goal. that guy was suppposed to be covered and goal.keeper did right to anticipate a pass not a shot. bottom line we need a central back fast if not two.
I have to see bologna 2nd goal again.but i think gio was slow in his reflex and movement, because the players infront of him closed the view on him.. positioning mistake as well
Should never have been beaten at his near post from that angle, that just shows lack of technical training
Burdisso is a liability, we all know that. Castan looks terrible when Marquinhos doesn't play. I still rate Stek higher that Goicoechea, but the keeper takes little blame in these goals. All on our CBs.
I would be willing to back heavily he would not have. Whether of not Stek is a bit of a dick, whether or not he lacks communication skills, he is a classically trained keeper and knows his angles pretty much spot on. Gio is like the guy who usually plays out field but will fill into nets in a kick about game. When to comes down to it, totally clueless
It was an open, free flowing first 30 minutes...goals are going to happen when you play like this. We'll see a more calm second half when the coaches have their halftime talks.
