i'm trying to keep a clean sheet for once by trying to win 1-0 and 2-0.... not really going that well
Mexes is a loser. I was laughing when he was trying to talk smack to Destro when he fouled him. Seeing him pouting when the team was celebrating was almost as good as seeing this:
Loved the first 70 minutes. Went a bit downhill when Marcos got the red card. Goi convinced me with his reflexes, his 1vs1 against El Sharawy. Was at fault with letting loose the ball when Pazzini got the PK. Must say Marcos is really been a great find by Sabatini. Plays like he is playing at this level for years
Hey Mates, Was at the match on Saturday, my first one at the Olimpico, and let me say it was one of the top 5 football matches and atmospheres I've ever been a part of. Fans were incredible, amazing passion and spirit, but I never felt unsafe, even despite the fact that there were many many levels of police and security around the stadium. Roma played inspired football, Bradley was allright, Totti class as usual, and everyone was making great runs forward, and just overpowering the Milanis. Also question, I heard plenty of curses throw and shouted from Curva Nord where I was sitting towards the Milan fan section in their little corner, though I wish I understood them! One sounded like "Milan Milan BaFaTuro". I'm sure that's not what it was at all but that's what I could make out. Also loved singing along to Grazie Roma with all the Romanistis around me after the final whistle. Aside from the goals my favorite moment of the match. Great experience, proud to be a Romanisti from now on. Forza!
Sweet man! I went to see Roma-Inter in 06 and we drew, but it was such an awesome experience. Never felt a football match, or any sports event, like that. Singing the Roma song before the match just made me shiver. When Roma scored, the entire stadium rumbled and I could feel the noise in my bones lol. I was in the stadium for 5 mins and I was shouting insults at Inter too. Never felt unsafe either, even though there was a section where Roma and Inter fans were trading flaming cocktails haha.
The club is gradually improving that's a good news still not perfect but in right path.Zeman just confirm after game what i've been thinking long time about refs.Roma and people are not politicly powerful, they have enemies and Zeman is irritating many people with his style and guts.
When they called Zeman to the judicial committee back for the scandal of 2006, what exactly did they ask him and what did he testify to? I just remember him saying "this is not calcio" but I can't remember what else he said.
welcome to the greater good, lol honestly, i can't see how anybody can hate Roma, unless if they're Rube, Laziale, or Interisti Richard Whittle became a fan of Roma just from watching. and after watching Ray Hudson commentate Roma-Milan, i'm sure he's a fan too now (he's wasn't as excited when Milan scored). same goes for that Russian commentator i posted in the highlights few posts above
^Seriously its impossible not to fall in love. I became a fan just watching on TV, got in so much that I took a vacation to Rome to see them play. Wore my Roma scarf around the city all week before the match and literally had people greeting me all day, patting me on the back, shaking my hand, "Forza Roma!" all day - was such a great experience.
I did, there was no problem. I only covered my colors on the train ride over to the stadium, which everyone did. Once I stepped off, everyone unzipped and uncovered haha.
