    I see we have a very tough stretch coming

    Milan
    @NAPOLI
    @Catania
    Inter

    Wrong timing for Marcos injury, Castan should be available from 2nd game on

    Allegri will probably load up the midfield full of defensive midfielders, and I won't be surprised if Milan sit back quite a bit. If they try to play open football against us like they tried against Inter, I think we could still win somewhat easily. Even with Romagnoli-Burdisso. But they are going to be tricky if they sit back and hit us on the counter.

    Constant, El Shaaraway, Muntari, Robinho, Prince, Pato, Bojan, Nocerino, De Sciglio; They are a quick young team.

    Marquinhos is doing everything possible to try to recover in time. Already starting physiotherapy.

    I don't think that's smart for him, but you gotta admire the move.

    Pazzini, a player so mediocre not even he can figure out how he got to play for Milan.

    He is mediocre, but on various forums as roma fan I can never open my mouth on him badly to other fans. After all the clown denied us a scudetto ...

    IMO line-up should be
    Stek(forever my number 1)
    Piris-Marcos/Romagnoli-Burdisso-Balza
    DDR-Tacht-Florenzi
    Lamela-Osvaldo-Totti

    With Destro and Marquinho as super subs. We need DDR to lead the team together with Totti in bigger games.

    If Marcos can't get fit by Saturday, I'd play DDR in the center of the midfield. It will hurt us offensively but we are going to need muscle in that midfield to help out our back line.

    I'd go Florenzi-DDR-Pjanic/Bradley

    Hopefully we don't play Bradley he lacks technical skills and was awful in the Chievo match. Does he have spirit and muscle? yeah, but we need more than that against Milan.

    I suspect DDR will start this game but I have to ask (and it's not directed mainly at you, just in general) what has anyone seen this year from DDR that suggests he's going to be some great asset in this match?

    The return we could get for DDR is lowering (from age if not recent performances), so a lot of people want to sell him to get as much as possible. If he is still the best option in a position, then we should play him - future plans to sell, or not.
