Montella is still a naive coach, who can be outclassed tactically...The reason Juventus lost to them is because of their mental blackout...I feel any good coach can outclass Fiorentina by plating correct tactics --> even Verona almost equalised with a man down

We have beaten Montella in 3 out of 3, luck will be in his favor this time around.

Luck is not the correct word --> Montella was simply outplayed in all three games

If anything, luck might favor us after this spell of unfortunate bounces in the last 30 days.

    lol

No idea about the third game which I imagine was when he was with Catania (unless you guys are talking about Coppa Italia which is just meh...) but, though Zeman schooled him, we completely dominated the Serie A match at our place last season. It's tougher when we have to deal with DDR reaching out to palm away shots, of course.

You just try to keep your players' knees away from wood chippers.

Maybe Balza should wear those glasses while playing, it might help him put in a decent cross

They aren't great but it's not like there's anyone to cross to either.

From what I can recall Borriello has had two decent crosses so far this season and he scored one (Cheivo)and had the other cleared of the line (Lazio).

In truth, the false 9 formation with Totti or ljajic is not built for crossing unless they're on a counter. If you're playing with a true cf, then you're game incorporates more crossing.

But in Roma possession and a false 9 the offense relies on dribbling past the final player and short tricky passes in on goal

Three if you include the one against Napoli where the other Cannavaro dragged him down.

I bet Totti will not play a single minute. It's going to take something special to get anything out of this match.

About 5 and a half hours to go. Should probably go and get some sleep. See you bright and early brothers!
