Solid performance overall. Menez FINALLY got to show his true quality and he didn't take this rare chance for granted, as he was arguably our best player on the pitch today. That volley he scored was also of pure class, and those runs he kept making up the left side had the CHievo backline running in circles!

Honourable mention also go to both Taddei and Riise. Taddei put on probably his best performance since returning from injury, meanwhile Riise might've played by far his best match since become a Roma player!

And even though he didn't score, Totti was pure GENIUS today. His passes were picture perfect most of the time, and he did an excellent job of holding up the ball, especially in the last few minutes of the game where he single handedly manage to burn about 2 minutes off the clock on his own just by holding up the ball near the sideline!

That's exactly what I said after he scored it! lol

Hopefully we get the opportunity to see him smile a bit more often from now on! He definitely showed that he deserves more starting opportunities from Spalletti in the future!

Ironically enough Esposito was the only guy on their squad that actually showed any true determination to score. He actually looked pretty dangerous on a few occassions.

    ROMA

I missed the game...thought it was on Sunday ...but, based on the highlights, seemed Roma had great chances to score, but were unlucky in the final 1/3. Chievo seemed to cause some problems, but nothing Doni couldn't handle.

I'm glad for Menez...he realized this was his opportunity and took. He seemed to have a few chances to score and a brilliant pass to Brighi in front of the goal. I dunno how Matteo missed that chance. Shame Brighi got the late red card.

Roma are movin' on up!!!! :D

The flipsides : Baptista had a piss poor game. Perrotta although better than what he was a cpl of months back should not be pining for a starting line call up.
