    totti's passing has been horrible

67% passing accuracy for totti atm, out of the 22 players on the pitch, only osvaldo boasts worse (58%)

No wonder though, look at the passes he has been trying, they are so direct. Almost every pass has been an attempt at splitting open the defence.

75% of the time nobody is even making the run though, so its a waste

I was Osvaldo off at halftime and Destro to move into the middle and push Pjanic up top and bring on Marquinho

    Not going to happen though

The problem is no movement for Totti (or Pjanic) to play with.
And for the horizontal passing to get forward the team is sitting way too low.

Agreed , hasn't been one of his best halves, with that said, Totti's throughpasses require the receiver to understand and anticipate where the pass is going - sometimes even before the ball has left Totti's feet. Destro is not used to Totti's defence-splitting passes the way Lamela is, hence resulting in a lower than average pass accuracy.

It's been boring, but the problem is that we are very sloooow today, and cannot blame only Osvaldo for that...Osvaldo can still score in any game, no matter how invisible he is...

i think the boys are just complacent because we're playing weaker opposition. they're not pressing as much and not making as many forward runs as usual

we're making it very easy for pescara (although i do have to credit them for playing better than they used to with their new coach)

yep. the team is not running enough forward, and has no compact movement.
Pjanic quite disappeared after the first 10 minutes, I expected him to try to fill the right side a bit more while Lamela is not there. Osvaldo is too passive, and waits for the ball to get him, instead to move for it. And the rest of the midfield is far away.

agree, looking at the stats, its unfair to just call it poor. The whole team lacks movement for him

One of the problems is that Totti is supposed to be one of those players making the run and recieving it from midfield.

One of the reasons we look so damn good when he is off generally in the last 15 minutes is everyone then can make runs.

Osvaldo or Totti needs to come off soon and I think our game will open up some more.

well today they seem to have mixed it up somewhat, totti seems to be coming deep from the centre and trying to link up play but know one is moving

Totti went more central, there the whole left side open to make runs, but no Balzaretti, neither Florenzi appears there. There is no midfield support, and not enough movement from the strikers. Nothing has to do with Totti's running.

FFS Destro! Twice! Goals not scored are goals scored against you.
