Strong statement, but I am beginning to feel the same way. He is the highest paid player on the team and he has played so inconsistent for Roma while he has played excellent for the NT.

Re-Read my last post. I'm not saying he should automatically be gifted a starting spot simply because he's a local boy and for "sentimental" reasons. However I do feel that those sentimental reasons could be just what we need in order motivate our star player to once again play up to his calibre. Otherwise we're stuck with the biggest contract on our squad just rotting on the bench until we can sell him to the highest bidder.

Who thinks Dodo will get some playing time? I think he can bring a lot of energy to the game. Also, who thinks some players like Bradley or Tach or Marcos might choke a bit? I'm nervous they are going to walk into a smoke-filled stadium filled with have Lazio fans and half Roma fans and just get nervous.
Bradley has plenty of experience playing in big games against hated rivals in packed stadiums. USA v Mexico isn't at the same level as Roma v Lazio in terms of quality of the teams but the intensity and rivalry is just as strong. I don't see him "choking". Marcos has shown composure beyond his years but this has got to be the biggest game he's been a part of and will be a big test. Tach... I'm a fan of his but won't be surprised if he gets sent off! So long as we're up multiple goals with under 5 minutes to play I'll like that though (assuming he breaks someone's leg ).
Actually, I'm still saying that now. Lamela is looking good, still he has alot to prove. btw no one really knows if Montella even demanded that, which I find hard to believe anyway.

That's hardly relevant. Jovetic had very clealrly shown his talent. Who in their right mind would have gone to Fiorentina and sent him away.
It drives me crazy that now people start talking as if Montella discovered or re-discovered Jovetic...He has been an ace under any manager, who has managed Fiorentina for the last couple of years...and sooner or later, he will be gone, that is for sure...just the right moment has not arrived yet (i.e. market price is still considered too low by fiorentina management)
yeah lol Jovetic was incredible 3 years ago when I used to go every other Sunday and see him play live

radu is actually one of the players i hate the least. every derby you can count on him to do something stupid in our favor, like red card himself. he's like that retarded cousin in your family. you feel sorry for him at times but you just don't like being around him
