I think any coach would have a hard time keeping Osvaldo out right now. The situation is unfortunate, Destro is a place where he needs to play. However who in their right mind is going to bench Osvaldo. I bet Destro is regretting pushing to come to Roma right about now.
To look at it black and white like that is foolish in my opinion. How many minutes has Osvaldo played compared to Destro? Probably 5 times more, just like the goals.
It's a difficult decision. When it comes to strikers you play whoever is hot which is Osvaldo, but the longer Destro goes without scoring the harder it will become to do so. Also we didn't pay that much for him to be a benchwarmer. I'd have probably given the nod to Destro just because I don't want to risk Osvaldo getting himself suspended before Lazio.
