Cuero has the speed and skill to play in Italy but he does not know how to shoot. And his crosses although pretty good for a Colombian are not up to Serie A quality. I hope this works out for him though.
Armero cough. Dude the kid needs to be shown how to cross. If he is a wingback then finishing is nice but not something you bench a LB for. Our whole youth team is going to be in Italy. Hopefully some CBs go too. He also reminds me of Ibarbo. Both are almost finished projects. A tiny gamble by a euro team. Kid has size, speed, heart, 6 lungs and can play multiple positions.
But the thing is he is supposed to be a starting striker for our Sub 20, not a wing or back like Armero.
He looked to playing as a LB or RB too me. This kid can't play as a striker... maybe a winger if he gets better at finishing. Chievo, PSG, and a bunch of other teams want Borja who I didn't think is too special. With how Falcao/Jackson/Muriel are preforming I am not shocked all our CFs are being looked at
Honestly, Cuero has so much to improve. IN this tournament I mostly saw speed and a bit of dribbles. No crossing, no passing (beside one time vs. Uruguay), no finishing. In this final match vs. Paraguay the guy could pass at least 3-4 times to Perea who was wide open, but prefer to shoot and kill some birds in the sky. So unless Italy will improve him, I wouldn't like a player like this in my team, at least not from what I saw during this tournament, but yes this kid has a potential if he'll continue to work hard.
So what is the going rate for a Colombian now? I mean I see the chileans sell their kids for way more which doesn't make much sense as they haven't really done much. Or have any WC players other than Sanchez who kind of sucked since leaving Italy. Our kids really haven't been getting home sick or having discipline problems so I don't get why we are still super cheap.
Mauricio Cuero signed with Bastia from Ligue 1 in France. http://www.goal.com/es-co/news/4600/mercado-de-pases/2013/07/24/4140062/de-bogotá-a-bastia
that the most oficcialinfo... Volverá a Equidad
our players are improving and are getting a lot of exposure and are openning new markets, but our "FIFA agents" suck. these agents need to improve their relationships abroad.
How did he do this season? I know his team made him come back. Did he do anything this season. I didn't hear anything about him.
So funny they didn't let him go to Spain but allowed this BS transfer. Our youth players are run so badly. We should just let any of the ones who get offers from big leagues to go on loan or half ownership and then cash in on them if they make it big.
