MATCH THREAD: 2013 Preseason

Camp starts on Monday, so we should be seeing a preseason schedule any day now.

We'll talk about all the preseason games here!

 

The team played BK Häcken in a closed door game on Monday, the first day of camp. From what I heard the main squad only played 30 minutes, and considering that and the probable lack in fitness on day one, the 1-0 loss is not a bad result.

Yesterday the full preseason schedule came out:

Thursday, March 7 - at FIU - 7:30 PM
Sunday, March 10 - at Copa Latina All-Stars - 4:00 PM
Wednesday, March 13 - at FGCU - 7:00 PM
Saturday, March 16 - at Barry U - 5:00 PM
Wednesday, March 20 - at Nova Southeastern - 7:00 PM
Friday, March 22 - at FAU - 7:00 PM

Road trip to Estero on Wednesday the 13th, Friday the 22nd will lead right in to the USMNT qualifier vs. Costa Rica, those attending the FAU game will be heading to Lion & Eagle in Boca to see the US match.

3-0 winners over the Copa All-Stars. De Mujica, Dimitrov and Gonzalez(PK) the goal scorers.

 

Strikers win 5-0 over Barry. Anderson, Dimitrov with 2 goals each, trialist Jimenez with the 5th.

 

5-0 against NSU tonight. Dimitrov with a hat trick, David Foley and Andy Herron got their first action and both scored. Foley had a PK saved otherwise it would have been 6-0.
