You resorted to this level by dissing the Spanish NT as boring, I'm sorry but they're the last team to resort to negative tactics commonly used by teams such as Paraguay, Portugal, Brazil and so many other teams at this World Cup.

You should be proud that an attacking team won today.

    Casillas? Really?
I think he is having a bad tournament. The PK was poorly taken.

Spain's best players were xavi, xabi and villa.

Spain is not an attacking team, Spain is a possession team, which is frankly boring as hell. You guys score once against a decent team and then you like to try to play keepaway for 30 minutes, I've seen it happen time and time again.

    Quit kidding yourself.

Roque had it to draw the game

Cabanas would have put that away

Going by your sig quote, I'd say you are well on your way to making your own personal contribution to the annihilation of society.

I thought Xavi was pretty poor overall today and didn't make his stamp on the match. Villa was poor outside of his goal but mostly because he had to play with Torres.

Casillas has had a decent tournament, but had a good match today.

Xabi had a decent match, but honestly the midfield was having a hard time against Paraguay.

What's attacking team? I didn't see any attacking team out there, just 22 headless chickens running around and in the end, the less boring team managed to snatched a goal

We play total football, passing until passages are found. I admit this Spanish NT is boring compared to the team at '08 but this is because we have a dolt as a coach.

Germany is an attacking team, Spain is a posession team, Paraguay is a defensive team

I agree. The guy who analysed the game on our national TV somehow managed to put Spain as WC favorites. I hardly believe that. But let's not forget we are talking about Germany that is 24 age year old on average. I am afraid they might crack under the pressure

Well Paraguay did what they could, and almost did. Spain to me had the better play, and did just win. Paraguay played great, but lost. It was not a 4-0 blow out. Spain was a pre WC fav. to win the WC. Good play Paraguay.:)

Sorry, but Spain is the 2nd highest scoring team in the UEFA qualifiers behind England and look where they went.

    This.

Germany will be a big challenge for Spain. Puyol has been suspect as he's aged and he's been reduced to diving sometimes in order to get bailed out of making a poor play. He'll have a hard time doing that against Muller, Klose, Schweinsteiger and Ozil.

Spain is playing "hide the ball" ... not football. It is an interesting strategy that when developed fully it will be an extremely effective tactic and EXTREMELY boring. How can you counter that really? with iniesta and xavi they would roll over this tournament. That is scary
