Cassano just scored bunch of goals this season, what did Balotelli do other than get pissed off at the coach and throw his shirt in the ground and wave off the Inter fans? please tell me ?
Besides Rossi, exactly who are you talking about? What other Italian players are there outside of Serie A who would have a chance of making this team? I agree, Rossi shoulda been included.
Howard Webb must have seen the play clearly and orders him to man the f up. I'll drink to that, refreshing to see a ref not putting up with a grown ass man wasting time.
What I meant by other players, I was being hypothetical it was just poorly worded. What I should have said was... If Pirlo, Cannavaro, and Zambrotta played in Spain they would have found it much harder to make their way into this Italian squad despite La Liga being superior.
We are all entitled to our opinion and as I said before, my opinion is persuaded by the fact that Balotelli had a tense club situation. On raw talent alone I still feel that he is more talented than Cassano and has a bigger upside as far as supersubs go (which is what role they would have both played in this cup). On top of that, you can't compare Cassano's playing time at SAMPDORIA with Balotelli on a team who just won the Champions League and has to beat out the best players in the world at age 21 in order to get time. Don't be silly. If Balotelli were to play for a team like Sampdoria he would be starting every match at a young age and would be able to show his quality. Wait until he moves. He is a special player, at the U-21s he was a true man amongst boys.
Yeah, I see what you mean. But that's a greater issue then then simply what is ailing this Italian squad.
Cassano and Balotelli scored the same amount of Serie A goals this past season, 9. That despite Balotelli mainly being a sub. But that's not the point, you claimed that Balotelli shouldn't go because he's a cancer and then you mention Cassano who's had problems pretty much everywhere he's played.
I guess they figure Pirlo out of shape is better than anything else they got in the bench. Maybe he can score on a free kick. But now they used all their subs.
Watching this team is like, well, watching the 2009-10 Juventus team. Just shambolic even in the simple matters of passing, winning 50/50s, allowing Slovaks space and time.
Incredible save, I don't think it completely crossed but I wish we had an opposite side view just to see. WOWWW
